Leticia is Deputy Director - Drewry Maritime Advisors. She advises port businesses, investors and lenders on port sector transactions (on both commercial and technical aspects) but also on market position and strategy. She is also responsible for the development of Drewry’s Green and Smart advisory service offer in the port sector, monitoring technological, decarbonisation and sustainability initiatives.
Leticia started her consulting career in 2005 and joined Drewry in 2015 having previously worked at Arup and URS Scott Wilson (now Aecom).
A chartered engineer CEng MICE, her earlier career focused on port engineering, design and planning roles but then her focus moved to port and terminal market studies / competitive position of port businesses. This includes commercial due diligence (market size, market share, revenue generation, growth strategy) and technical due diligence (technical risks, port capacity bottlenecks, capex and opex) of port sector M&A transactions.
At Drewry, her maritime advisory projects are mainly focused on ports but often cover shipping, container leasing and other maritime markets. Leticia also leads Drewry’s green and smart ports initiative, which contributes to Drewry’s publications and offers advisory to ports and terminals on adoption of green and smart initiatives at strategy level.
