Harwich Haven vessel size forecast (2019)

Drewry was appointed to develop vessel size forecasts for the trade routes that call at the Port of Felixstowe, where the client is responsible for managing the movement of all vessels into and out of the Haven Ports including Felixstowe. Drewry’s analysis included identifying the current services calling at the Port of Felixstowe by trade route, to develop bottom-up vessel deployment for ULCVs on the existing orderbook for the Asia-North Europe trade by Alliance, and to estimate the likely vessel size evolution for all trades to 2035, linking vessel size growth to projected demand growth for the trade routes that each service serves.
