Our Experience

TTIA Environmental due diligence

Client: DIF Capital Partners

The client engaged Drewry in regards to a container terminal in Spain they were looking to invest in. The target was Total Terminal Algeciras (TTIA), a transhipment terminal located in the Mediterranean. Drewry was asked to conduct a desk based high level Environmental and Health and Safety due diligence at TTIA. Based on environmental documentation provided, Drewry provided a desktop review of ESG written policy and a desktop review of the operation at Algeciras terminal. Drewry assessed the suitability of the facility’s environmental standards/measures in terms of: water draining practices, environmental legacy issues with regards to decommissioning and environmental issues potentially affecting biodiversity. Drewry also covered the technical due diligence and market due diligence work.
