Due diligence of leading Korean shipyard

Client: Sovereign wealth fund

Drewry carried out a commercial due diligence on one of the largest Korean shipbuilding company. Specifically the aim was to analyze and comment on the shipyard’s Business Plan, its various assumptions and, based on industry/market trends, to give an assessment of likelihood of achieving the business plan. In addition, the Drewry team visited the yards site and interviewed senior management; inspected the yard facilities and conducted the commercial and technical due diligence.
