Commercial due diligence of a Chinese shipyard

The target yard mainly focused on the construction of container vessels. It wished to expand the scope of its activities and move up the value chain by building Pure Car and Truck Carriers and chemical tankers. The client asked Drewry for assistance with its commercial due diligence of the yard. The work was undertaken as a combination of desk-based research of the targeted shipbuilding markets and a site visit to the yard.
