World Container Index - 09 Jul
09 Jul 2026: Drewry’s World Container Index (WCI) rose 2% to reach $4,639 per 40ft container. This climb, largely driven by higher rates on the Asia–Europe trade route, pushed the index to its highest level since September 2024.

10 Jul 2026: Across the major East–West trades, 46 blank sailings are expected over the next five weeks, from week 29 (13–19 July) to week 33 (10–16 August), representing a 6% cancellation rate.
