World Container Index - 09 Jul

09 Jul 2026: Drewry’s World Container Index (WCI) rose 2% to reach $4,639 per 40ft container. This climb, largely driven by higher rates on the Asia–Europe trade route, pushed the index to its highest level since September 2024.

Intra-Asia Container Index - 09 Jul

09 Jul 2026: Drewry’s Intra-Asia Container Index (IACI) decreased 4% to $993 per 40ft container.

Jun 2026: Our Airfreight Index is a weighted average of all-in airfreight "buy rates" paid by forwarders to airlines for standard service airport-to-airport airfreight services on 44 major East-West routes for cargoes above 1,000 kg.
