Drewry was approached by one of the largest global container terminal operators seeking to understand the commercial and operational structure of the main container equipment leasing companies, with a view to establishing new collaborative revenue streams, leveraging their network of terminals as container storage hubs.

Drewry applied its extensive knowledge and experience of the container equipment market to prepare a report profiling the top 10 container leasing companies covering their commercial and operational structures, providing details of their differing operational models, physical infrastructure, lease contract terms and customer profiles. The performance of each leasing company was compared, while broader pain points and collaborative opportunities were identified.
