Archit Tewari

Profile

Prior to joining Drewry, Archit served for 6 years as a Marine Engineering Officer, with experience in ship modifications, maintenance and planning. Part of his responsibilities were to ensure vessels met the environmental compliance standards of the regions in which they operated.  
  
Having worked on different aspects of decarbonisation and its implications for shipping, Archit is well familiar with the IMO’s Emission Regulations (EEXI and CII). 
  
Recent project experience includes analysing the impact of local environmental regulations in a region and framing policy recommendations for the involved parties and stakeholders, technical due diligence and assessment of fleet owned by a shipping company, analysing and assessing the new environmental regulations and their implications globally.
