James joined Drewry as Interim Head of Marketing in late 2014. On completing a six-month project assignment he assumed full-time responsibilities for Group Marketing and Business Development.
James brings more than 20 years’ marketing leadership and consulting experience in the knowledge-based and professional services sectors to Drewry. His past experience includes new product development and product management roles with Equifax plc and marketing leadership roles with global publishers LexisNexis and property consultants DTZ plc.
In his earlier career James served in the Royal Navy as a bridge-watchkeeping officer before being selected as a specialist navigator in 1992. James served aboard HMS Cardiff during the Iran-Iraq War and HMS Brave during the first Gulf War.
James was awarded a Royal Naval scholarship to read Economics at London University.
