James joined Drewry in 2014 and is responsible for Group Marketing, Customer Service and Business Development. He has over 25 years’ product development and marketing experience in the knowledge management and professional services sectors. James is a Director of Drewry Group.
Profile
James brings more than 25 years’ marketing leadership and consulting experience in the knowledge-based and professional services sectors to Drewry. His past experience includes new product development and product management roles with Equifax plc and marketing leadership roles with global publishers LexisNexis and property consultants DTZ plc.
In his earlier career James served in the Royal Navy as a bridge-watchkeeping officer before being selected as a specialist navigating officer in 1992. James served aboard HMS Cardiff on Armilla Patrol in 1987, escorting merchant vessels through Hormuz during the Iran-Iraq War and HMS Brave at the time of the first Gulf War.
James was awarded a Royal Naval scholarship to read Economics at London University.
