Rajesh joined Drewry in 2009 having formerly been manager (supply chain) at Global Agribusiness Systems Pvt Ltd, Delhi and Research Manager at Indian Agribusiness Systems Pvt Ltd, Delhi. Whilst with Indian Agribusiness Systems, he had roles in commodities research. He conducted comprehensive research involving fundamental and technical analysis of various commodities. His role also included devising intra-day, short-term, and long-term trading strategies for clients for derivatives (futures) trading on various agricultural and non-agricultural commodities. After spending 3 years in Indian Agribusiness Systems, he joined Global Agribusiness Systems Pvt Ltd, where he had roles in supply chain management including procurement, storage and trade of perishable commodities.

Since joining Drewry as Senior Research Analyst in October 2009, Rajesh has been editor of two globally acclaimed tanker shipping research publications, namely Drewry Tanker Insight and Tanker Forecaster. He has also undertaken a wide range of consulting assignments covering due diligence, financial analysis and market analysis.

He holds a degree in Agricultural Engineering from College of Agricultural Engineering, Jabalpur, India and CFA from the Institute of Chartered Financial Analysts of India.
