Tom Crabtree joined Transport Research Advisory in April 2024 as Managing Director.  Tom has deep experience in freight market analysis, forecasting, as well as developing fleet plans and financial projections for both established and start-up carriers across the globe. He is a recognized authority on commercial as well as military cargo markets.

Formerly, Tom was Regional Director – Airline Market Analysis for Boeing Commercial Airplanes in Seattle. From 2000 to 2020, he was a contributing author and chief editor of the Boeing World Air Cargo Forecast. Tom’s expertise on commercial air cargo trends and military airlift has played a key role in Boeing product strategy and product development efforts.

Tom has a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering, and an MBA in International Business, both from the University of Kansas.
