Contract Appraisal

Drewry was approached by a global confectionary company to review the ocean freight contracts in place with its core carriers. Drewry conducted a detailed review of the agreements, providing the client with mark up and a gap analysis of the contract. We identified a number of areas for improvement and where best practises should be adopted. Drewry also provided advice on which Key Performance Indicators should be included in the appendices, alongside best practise advice on how to manage and measure detention and demurrage.
