Global Annual Bid Event Support

Drewry was appointed to run and manage a global ocean freight bid for a medical technology company headquartered in Europe. The first stage of the project was to conduct a shipper of choice and bid strategy workshop to define the approach to bid event. Drewry and the client worked together to define the bid timeline, process and lines of communication. Drewry provided ocean freight benchmarks to the client to measure rate offers during the bid rounds. Drewry fully managed the clients bid from inception to close, assisting in divesting the carrier line up and securing allocation for the 2022 cycle.
