The client commissioned Drewry to identify and quantify improvements, to make recommendations for future improvements.

  • Drewry provided detailed reviews of cost, contract practice and the supply chain organisation which included 5 key recommendations.

  • The client approved these recommendations and asked Drewry to scope the Phase 2 with Drewry’s advisory team working jointly with the client group to implement Phase 1 proposals and improve the management strategy and structure.

  • The client created a transformation team which worked with Drewry’s expanded consultancy team, to implement some of the strategy proposed.

  • Improvement of Supply Chain Management strategy and structure

  • Nickel ore and Ferronickel shipment tendering advice.

Drewry Approach

The strategy required review of both container shipping, multipurpose shipping as well as dry bulk shipping.
