The Client aimed to optimize its shipping operations and reduce costs across its subsidiaries.
The Client commissioned Drewry to identify and quantify improvements and to make recommendations for future improvements.
Drewry provided detailed reviews of cost, contract practice, and the supply chain organization, which included 5 key recommendations.
After exchanges between the client and Drewry, the Client approved these recommendations and asked Drewry to make a proposal for “Phase 2” expert support and work, jointly with the client group, to implement Phase 1 proposals and improve SC Management Strategy and Structure.
The Client created a transformation team which worked with Drewry’s expanded consultancy team, to implement some of the strategy proposed.
