Technical and market due diligence of Suezmax tankers

Client: Spanish crude oil tanker owner and operator

The client was seeking finance for two under-construction Suezmax tankers from the project and acquisition finance unit of a Spanish corporate bank. Drewry conducted an independent technical and market due diligence study for the transaction. It included an overall market assessment and outlook, valuation of the ships, as well as a macro-review of the shipyard and shipbuilding contracts.
