Daniela Ghimp

Profile

Daniela holds a degree in economics and was recognised as the Best Performing Final Year Student on graduating in 2021. She began her career in freight forwarding with Hellmann Worldwide Logistics, focusing on ocean freight pricing and trade management.

After graduation she joined Drewry, where she initially contributed to the development and improvement of research tools and content for the Container Capacity Insight report and developed a methodology for forecasting ocean spot rates. Daniela now collaborates with Benchmarking Club Members, advising Drewry’s shipper clients on BAF strategy and implementation and their annual bid events. She also provides analysis for Drewry’s Container Forecaster subscription service.
