Rahul Sharan

Profile

Rahul has over twenty years’ experience in shipping and economic research. He joined Drewry in 2008 and is responsible for the firm’s dry bulk publications. He undertook formal training in research methodologies with the research team at the University of Namur, Belgium, in 2005.

In his role as Deputy Director, Rahul has led and contributed to a wide range of advisory assignments. These include managing the dry bulk component of a major primary-data-led study on Indonesian coastal trade, conducting competitive route analyses for dry bulk commodities and delivering time charter assessments and forecasts.

Rahul is a regular speaker at international conferences on dry bulk market dynamics and is a frequent contributor to leading industry publications, including International Bulk Journal.
